Binigyang-diin ni House prosecutor at Bicol Saro Party-list Rep. Terry Ridon na hindi maaring ituro ang mga Special Disbursing Officer o SDO ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) at ng Department of Education (DepEd) bilang tanging may mga pananagutan sa maling paggastos ng confidential funds ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sinabi ito ni Rep. Ridon sa pagharap ngayon sa impeachment trial bilang hostile witness ni dating OVP SDO Gina Acosta.
Una nang sinabi ni House trial Spokesperson at Lanao Del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong, may pirma ni VP Sara ang mga dokumentong naiprisenta na sa impeachment trial tulad ng physical and financial plan, disbursement documents, liquidation report at accomplishment report.
Diin ni Adiong, nagpapakita ito na si VP Sara ang may utos, permiso at kaalaman sa paggastos ng confidential ng OVP at DepEd.
Sa tingin naman ni private prosecutor and House prosecution legal Spokesperson Atty. Benjamin “Jay” Tolosa Jr., bukod ky Acosta at kay former DepEd SDO Edward Fajarda, ay tanging si VP Duterte lamang ang makakapaliwanag kung paano ginastos ang kanyang mga confidential funds.
