Inihayag ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) na naging maayos ang isinagawang mock elections para sa Automated Election System (AES) na gagamitin sa kauna-unahang parliamentary elections sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) sa Setyembre 14.
Ayon kay COMELEC Chairman George Garcia, naging maayos ang mock voting sa Cotabato City, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte, at Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.
Maging ang National Citizens’ Movement for Free Elections (NAMFREL) at ang Institute for Autonomy and Governance (IAG) ay kinumpirma na naging maayos ang resulta ng isinagawang simulation.
Nasa 500 botante ang lumahok, na may tig-50 botante sa bawat clustered precinct.
Mabilis ding naipadala ang election results sa mga server ng COMELEC, dominant majority at minority parties, media, Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), at NAMFREL.
Nabatid na aabot sa 2,393,530 rehistradong botante sa BARMM ang boboto sa 1,186 voting centers sa 2,185 barangay upang pumili ng 32 district representatives, 40 party nominees, at walong sectoral representatives.
